I took on a project earlier in the summer to work with a local non-profit organization: Gray Whale Foundation
In doing so I befriended a wonderful group over at Dana Wharf Sport fishing & whale watching here in the Dana Point, CA harbor. Mike, the owner is also a foundation board member and extended an open invitation to do some whale watching. It’s the first time I had done anything like that, and it was a great experience for Elisa & Gianna as well. We didn’t get to see and Blue or Gray whales that day but we did meet with a couple Dolphin Pods, which are actually in the whale family. On this particular day, reporters & photographers from the OC Register, The Orange County news organization were on the boat to gather photos & information for a story about a fishing ban off the coast of Newport & Laguna Beaches. check it out!!
